CWBA's Beginners' Beekeeping course will start on Thursday, 22 February at 8.00 pm in the Teagasc Centre, Old Dublin Road, Enniscorthy, Y21 ED27.
The course will run for five weeks.
Wk 1 (22 Feb) : Noeleen Kavanagh – Intro to our Association & Beekeeping Equipment
Wk 2 (29 Feb) :Joe Kelly – Inside the Hive, including intro to pests & diseases
Wk 3 (07 March) :Tony Lyons of Ashford BKA - Swarming
Wk 4: (14 March): Tom Prendergast - Common Mistakes Among Beekeepers
Wk 5: (21 March) Jacinta Cloney – A Year in Beekeeping
The practical class will be in May. New members can pay their membership fees in cash from 7.30 pm on the first two nights of the course.
